• VISIT: TAKE THE FIRST STEP

Sunday is the best day at FCC.

We believe you'll feel right at home here. There's no needto dress up unless you want to, and you don't need to have everything figured out—none of us do! All you need to do is take that first step. We trust that God is at work in all of us, guiding each other back to Him and helping us grown in our knowledge and relationship with Jesus and one another. We have a space for you in our sanctuary and our hearts. We would love to see you!

  • BAPTISM: WE ALL NEED A SECOND CHANCE

    Changed Lives & New Beginnings

Baptism is the next step for anyone who has chosen to follow Jesus and repented of their sins. As it is written in Romans 6:4, "We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life." We practice baptism by fully immersing in water, symbolizing Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. This act signifies our faith in His transformative power. As Acts 22:16 says, "And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name."

We practice baptism like the early church by immersing fully in water—something that’s symbolic of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection. Baptism is an invitation for God to renew broken lives, wash away past failures, and offer a fresh start, embodying 2 Corinthians 5:17: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" and that is why baptism is the next step for someone who has decided to follow Jesus, repented of their sin and is ready to become a follower of Jesus Christ.

  • VOLUNTEERING: EVERYONE BRINGS SOMETHING TO THE TABLE.

    DESIGNED FOR A PURPOSE

God gave you gifts and abilities to help the church become better. The church gets a little more generous, vibrant, and diverse every time you take part. When you serve at an event or on a team at First Christian, you use your gifts to honor the one who gave them to you.

  • MEMBERSHIP: PUTTING YOUR FAITH INTO ACTION

    A BIG BIG HOUSE!

When we talk about membership, we mean becoming part of a close-knit community where you truly belong and can make meaningful contributions. It's about joining a family that supports and encourages each other, where your presence and participation matter. Membership is an opportunity for those who want to take an active role in the church, including serving in various capacities, joining groups that foster deeper connections, and contributing to the growth and well-being of our community. We believe that being engaged in your local church is a vital step in following Jesus, providing a nurturing environment where your faith can flourish and where you can help others grow in their journey as well.

But know that you do not have to be a member to attend, get involved in ministry or simply worship with us on a Sunday. Everyone is welcome! However if you want to be a teacher, a ministry lead or have a position in leadership we ask that you take the next step of becoming a dedicated faithful member of First Christian Church. This is not a salvation issue, but all members should be baptized "immersed" believers in Christ.

  • GENEROSITY: BECAUSE GOD GIVES FIRST; GIVES THE MOST; AND GIVES THE BEST!

    LIVING A LIFE OF GENEROSITY

We give because we choose to serve Jesus and embrace His teachings wholeheartedly. We give because we trust in His promise to provide for all our needs. We give because we believe that Christians should lead by example in acts of generosity and joyful giving as commanded in Scripture. We give because we have faith that the church holds the greatest potential to inspire and transform the world. Many blessings follow those that give.

  • SHARING JESUS: WHAT'S THE REASON FOR THE HOPE YOU HAVE

    LOVE WHERE YOU'RE AT!

The message of Jesus has to carry outside the walls of the church and into our city. Into our homes, schools and workplaces. Into everyday conversations. Who better to do that than you? Jesus told the people who loved Him to tell people He loves them. Let’s not wait for “someone else” to do it. Let’s be the change we want to see.
